Fran and Ian will be running a Lindyhop workshop specifically aimed at new beginners or dancers who started recently. For totally new dancer, this is a chance to learn from the beginning some of the basics of Lindyhop. If you then decide you want to carry on you can simply show up at our regular Tuesday evening classes in Aylestone. For dancers who have been coming a few weeks or even a few months, this is your chance to go over some of the fundamentals again and pick up some more of the technique to improve your dancing. 

The programme for the day is shown below:

Class 1:   11.00-11.50

Class 2:   12.00-12.50

Lunch:     12.50 - 13.30

Class 3:   13.30 - 14.20

Class 4:   14.30 - 15.20

Social dancing:    15.20 - 15.45

We will provide drinks and snacks between classes but you should bring your own lunch.

The venue for the workshop is St Peter’s Church Hall, Church Road, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8DP. The venue has lots of parking with a large dance floor and kitchen area for breaks.
